Day 1: Cairo
Arrive in Cairo airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you through the formalities and then transferred to your hotel to meet your guide for briefing about the tour package; overnight at your hotel in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo - Giza Pyramids - Aswan After breakfast you will start the tour by visiting the awe inspiring Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza plateau, then head to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid- the first completed Pyramid in Egypt and some other amazing tombs. After a day of seeing 4500 year old ancient structures, you will take the overnight first class train up the River Nile to Aswan. (Upgrade to sleeper cabin for approximately R1000 return)

Day 3: Aswan
Arrive in Aswan around 10:00, you will be transferred to your hotel in Aswan and start your Nile quest by visiting the Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk and the famous High Dam of Aswan which after completion in 1971, created Lake Nasser. Free evening at your leisure, overnight at your hotel in Aswan.
Day 4: Felucca cruise from Aswan
After breakfast, check aboard the Nile Felucca and sail around the Islands temples of Aswan, Kitchener the botanical garden which has many imported trees and plants form several countries, next to the Elephantine Island which contains ruins of temples dedicated to the new kingdom in the pharaoh's era, overnight on the Felucca.

Day 5: Felucca Cruise
Free day for leisure sailing down the River Nile enjoy the amazing view of the River, overnight on the Felucca. (All meals served on the Felucca)

Day 6: Felucca Cruise - Luxor
In the morning you will visit Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples. Then you will arrive in Luxor in at afternoon, tour the East Bank of Luxor. Here you will experience the massive Karnak temple and historic Luxor temple, overnight at your hotel.

Day 7: Luxor
After breakfast we tour the West Bank of Luxor. We start the tour with the World famous Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir El Bahary) and the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of Amenophis III's temple. Then take the overnight first class train back to Cairo.

Day 8: Cairo
Arrive at your hotel in Cairo. After a short rest, you will begin your final tour in Egypt - the Egyptian Museum & the Old City of Cairo. Here, you can explore the Coptic area and seven churches, and the Citadel of Saladin. Visit the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the cave church with the sculptures depict the incredible miracle of a mountain which was moved by the power of prayer! Finally, we stop at the open market of Khan El Khalili - a bazaar buzzing with souvenir and coffee shops.

Day 9: Cairo - Dahab
Today you head to one of the most wonderful coastal towns on the Red Sea. An early start, breakfast, and then it is on our way to Dahab, where we will arrive in the late afternoon. After you have checked into the hotel, the rest of the day and evening are yours. Enjoy the fresh sea air!

Day 10: Dahab
This is a free day to be spent as you wish. Dahab is a small, relaxing resort town where there are many options available. Choose to go snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving or just enjoying the sun, sea & sand.

Day 11: Dahab (PETRA Option)
Another free day to enjoy the relaxing, laid back vibe of Dahab if you so wish. For those who have recharged and want to continue exploring, you have the option of booking a day excursion in Jordan, visiting the Lost City of Petra.

Day 12: Dahab
This is another day belonging to you! With snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving and good food and drink available you will find much to do; or nothing to do if that is what you choose. Enjoy!

Day 13: Dahab - St Catherine
Another free day to enjoy Dahab. However, at 10:30pm you will be taken to the historic Mount Sinai, a place sacred to 3 religions and climb the mountain to its peak.

Day 14: Cairo
Prepare yourself for a magical sunrise over the mountains of the Sinai Peninsula, that you will remember forever. After a brisk trip down the mountain you will enter Saint Catherine's Monastery, one of the oldest functioning monasteries in the world,. Here you will visit the famed location of the 'burning bush' which spoke to Moses. Then it is back on the coach for the trip back to Cairo.

Day 15: Cairo - Flight back home
After enjoying your breakfast, it is time to say goodbye to your new friends and finish your journey where it began. We can transfer you to the airport if you wish. Take your memories and adventure with you on the flight home.
